The Teen Art Gallery at the Boulder Public Library features rotating exhibits in a space exclusively for art work created by middle and high school artists. We show a range of work including painting, photography, graffiti, sculpture, collage, found objects, writing and more.

This is a fantastic opportunity to show work in a public venue, gain experience with art exhibitions, and get exposure for your school or community group. You can also submit on your own or with a group of friends. Get shown and boost your college applications and resumes.

CREATIVE WRITING FOR TEENS

Just Write Sr
Every Saturday, 2:30-3:30.
For high school aged teens.

Just Write Jr
Every Saturday, 12-1.
For middle school aged teens

Share and expand your creative writing talent at these classes. We work on poetry, fiction, short-stories, song writing, and a variety of other creative outlets. Meet friends with similar interests, laugh, rant, and write!

Just Write is funded by the Boulder Public Library Foundation.

Special "Just Write Sr."
Join singer/songwriter Lena Gabrielle, from wizard rock band The Butterbeer Experience, as she talks about how to write songs and poetry. She will present a free workshop of writing exercises and answer questions about her experiences.

Location: Canyon Theater, Main Library, 1000 Canyon Blvd.
Time: 5 p.m. (Just after her show with The Butterbeer Experience)
*Note-Just Write Sr. usually meets from 2:30-3:30 p.m., but due to this special appearance, the class will be moved to 5 p.m. It will resume at the regular time the following Saturday.
