I liked this book, though not as much as the others. I feel the story is dragging out too long, trying to set up other sequels, and this prevents this book from staying what it is. It also introduces several things that confuse me. If Opal had all these powers, why didn't she use them in the other books?

I agree with Ninja_Master. This book was definitely trying to line up more sequels. If Opal had all those powers, she wouldn't have had to go into a coma. She could have just 'mind controlled' whoever she wanted. OK for Eleven and under
