Title of book: Black Cat Author: Kentaro Kabuki Publishing company: Shoen Jump Publishing date: March 2006 Genre(s): anime, drama Tough topics: violence, abuse, and vulgar language
Black Cat is a guy who used to help people. Ever since Fred refused to help him, Black Cat turned into a sweeper. Sweepers kill people for money. Black Cat once was a really good person, but when he tried to help Fred, Fred shot him. This happened in the summer in a city. Black Cat didn’t get out of the hospital until the end of the fall. The first day out of the hospital, he made a bet with Mr. Evil. The bet was that he could kill Fred before Mr. Evil could. Black Cat caught Fred and killed him.
My favorite part of Black Cat would have to be when Black Cat and his friends went out to eat. He jumped up from the table and started dancing and saying “I won the bet.” My least favorite part of the book would be when they made the bet.
I think that girls and boys who are interested in drama, abuse, and vulgar language should read this book. I think that they should read Black Cat, because it is a really good book. There are a lot of interesting things that happen. Also, if you like to read, you would like this book because there is a series of about 20 to 30 books. Another reason why you should read this book is if you like humor.
Black Cat to me would have to be a 5 out of a 5, because I rarely read books, and this book caught my eye by the story and the cover. The cover is very bright. It is also a 5 to me because I really like books that have violence, abuse, and vulgar language, and Black Cat has a lot of it. This book is anime and you read it backwards and from left to right. Black Cat also has a lot of pictures in it. You should DEFINITELY read it.

Black cat is intriguing, and really good. The drawings are really good as well this tells the story of train "black cat" heartnet his awesomne inventing friend, sven may be his name is fred, not sure, japanese honourifics confuse me), and various other characters you'll meet soon enough. Train is sort of a run away from a huge gangster corporation called "cronos" train was the number one assasin but something.... happened, p.s. sweepers dont usually KILL for money, they arrest the dudes, though usually they do end up dead, didn't notice a whole lot of language, good book, dont read it if you have a problem with guns or blood, just don't it's not worth reading if you get scared easily cause let me tell you some of it is pretty awful still a good story!

I'd just like to correcet the above reviews, as a keen follower of the series I feel it is my duty to set things straight...
1. Train's sweeper parter is called Sven Vollfeild.
2. A sweeper's job is not to kill, but to bring in criminals.
3. Train never ends up in hospital.
4. By Mr. Evil, I assume you mean Creed Diskenth.
5. Sure, Train goes out to eat with his friends plenty of times and there was a point where he jumped on a table but he never started dancing.
6. There was never any bet.
7. There is no abuse.
8. So far there are only 20 books in the series.
9. The languge isn't too vulgar.
10. You read it from right to left.
11. There is nothing too scary and all pictures are in black and white so its not too vivid.
12. It's a fantastic series and i cannot point out one thing wrong with it!
