This is an ok book. Don't read it without the sequal, because the end leaves you hanging in a major way.
Once you get started it is an ok book, but it won't involve and capture you the way really good books do.
It is a kind fantasy mystery. There are two cousins who grow up in a new world. In this place, there are people known as Riders and Dreamhunters, who can enter "The Place". Other people can't, but can walk through the location where it would be (kinda, it's complex). Dreamhunters sleep in "The Place" and capture dreams which, when they dream when other people are asleep, everyone dreams the same thing. The dreams are all sorts, and better than normal one.
The two girl protagonists are raised by a family of 2 dreamhunters and a movie maker. when one of the dreamhunters vanishes just as the girls are permitted their first attempt as dreamhunters, the mystery/story begins.
don't forget to grab the sequal. |
