Intresting, and you never get tired of it. For people tryin to get a good summary, it is set in a time when being a third child is illegal. Trey, a Shadow child is trying to rescue his friends from the population police, who are capturing them. He teams up with his friends brother, but he, Mark, gets captured. Now, to get Mark out of prison he has to get another person out of a torture camp. The prisoner turns out to be Mr. Talbot, a resistor of the population police, and Trey's friend. The adults try to give up, but the Shadow Children will not lose the battle. This book is ok, it gets boring at times.... I thought it was interesting how different the world was. It seemed like they were Holocaust victims pretty much. It is sort of scary, but more suspensful. A quick read that is great for a trip. LISTEN TO GOOD CHARLOTTE!!!!!

the book is very interesting, but super hard to understand. i had to read it 2 times before i understood it correctly. i had to do a report on it and it was one of the hardest books to do a report on, but it was still a really great book to read.

I think that this book is great. I have read all the others in order and i think that the first one is great because is the staten and i like it better. Among the brave is very, very interesting. Try to read all of the shadow children books.(IN ORDER.)ENJOY!!!!!!!

All These books are amazing, I love the way she like makes it very interesting and fact-like till the end when something amazing happens, I mean they are all different but I would say either this book or among the enemy is my favorite, this can all happen to us in the near future you never know, I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys mystery books and a book that keeps you want to keep reading you always want to find out what happens next. I mean mystery books are the best, well to me anyways.

All these books are so awesome and how she put so much drama, mystery, and adventures into these books are amazing. If you ever have a chance to read any of these books you should. But just a tip they are so much better if you read all the shadow books in order!! Awesome!!! Awesome!!! Awesome!!!

i totally agree with beast i have to read it for my reading teacher and i have a test on it tomorrow and i am gonna fail bc it is so hard to understand :(

I thought this book was great! I cried when Mark Got Electrocuted :'( But i Love the Among series they're just all great books with a great story over all :) i will always read a good book when i get one and i think that for all people :)

It’s a fantastic book, I couldn’t put it down! Every page is full of suspense. Every chapter has another impossible situation for the main character to overcome, and each time he just barely makes it out alive by using a combination of wit, luck, and bravery. I think it’s the best book in the “Shadow Children” series.

i think the book is good. it is not one of the best i have read, but then again i dont read that much. anyways it is not that hard to understand. i think it is a good book to read, but not do a report because i have no idea why it is science fiction book and that is the whole point of the report. : )
